KENYA HANDMADE

Uniquely Carved Creations from Kenya

Kenyans and Americans working together.

We are a group of Kenyans and Americans working toward a common goal. I’m Joel Martin. Our business started when I embarked on a mission trip to Tanzania and Kenya. In my travels I saw all of the wonderful products made by the local people. I decided to try to sell these products in America to provide work and a steady income for the artists of poorer nations.

Helping to Support Kenyan Artists

Duka La Jiwe is a group of American volunteers, working directly with the Kenyan Artists (Fundis), selling soapstone to raise money for the Kenyan Artists. We buy directly from the Kisii Artists without negotiating their asking price. We then sell their products in the United States.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALES GO BACK TO KENYA!

If you want to go far, go together.
